Her Next Step is a wellness coaching application operated by The Bond Collective d/b/a Wellness Next Step ("we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle information when you use Her Next Step, including our website at hernextstep.app and our mobile and web application (collectively, the "Service").

By using Her Next Step, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the Service.

2. Information You Provide

When you create and use a Her Next Step account, you may provide information including:

• Name and email address — used to create and manage your account.
• Profile information — such as your display name, age range, fitness level, goals, health focus areas, and perimenopause stage, when you choose to provide them.
• Wellness check-ins — your responses to daily and evening check-ins, including energy, sleep quality, stress, mood, symptoms, and reflections you voluntarily share.
• Workout and activity information — records of workouts you start or complete, including exercises, duration, and how sessions felt.
• Nutrition and meal information — meals you log, including meal time, ingredients, and any reflections on how meals affected your energy.
• Journal and reflection entries — free-text reflections, breakthroughs, and notes you create within the journal feature.
• Community content — posts, comments, and reactions you intentionally create in community areas.
• Support communications — information you share when you contact us for help.
• Membership and subscription information — your membership status and billing-related details managed through our payment processor.

You are not required to provide all of this information. Many categories above are optional, and you can use parts of Her Next Step without completing a full profile or logging every type of activity.

3. Connected Services

Her Next Step allows you to connect a wearable device or health service (such as Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura Ring, or Google Health Connect).

If you choose to connect a service, Her Next Step may receive information such as sleep duration and quality, daily step count, completed workouts and duration, resting and active heart rate, and daily movement and activity.

Connecting a wearable or health service is entirely optional. You can use Her Next Step fully without connecting any device. You can disconnect a connected service at any time in your data settings, which stops new information from being imported.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Operate and maintain your account.
• Provide personalized app experiences, including daily coaching adapted to your check-ins and reported energy or symptoms.
• Show you workouts, programs, and exercise recommendations.
• Provide nutrition features, including recipe browsing, meal planning, and meal logging.
• Track your progress, history, and activity over time.
• Provide journal and reflection tools for your personal use.
• Enable community participation, including posts, comments, and connections with other members.
• Administer your membership, including trials, subscriptions, and billing.
• Provide account and billing support.
• Send service and lifecycle communications, such as trial reminders, membership confirmations, and feature updates.
• Maintain application security and reliability.

5. Journal and Reflection Privacy

Your journal entries and reflections are private to you. Her Next Step does not display your journal content to other members.

Journal entries remain private unless you explicitly choose an available coaching-sharing option within the app. When a sharing option is available and you choose to use it, only the information you deliberately share will be visible to your coach.

Nothing from your private journal or check-ins appears in community areas.

6. Community Information

Information you intentionally post to community areas — such as posts, comments, and reactions — may be visible to other Her Next Step community members according to the app's community design.

Your display name and avatar are visible in community areas.

Private journal content, check-in responses, symptom logs, food logs, and personal reflections are separate from community content and are not displayed in community areas unless you explicitly choose to share them through an available sharing feature.

7. Payments

Her Next Step uses Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle subscription payments and billing.

Payment card information is handled by Stripe. Her Next Step does not store your full card number or card security code.

We receive limited billing-related information from Stripe, such as your membership status and billing date, which we use to manage your account and access.

8. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate Her Next Step. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide the Service.

Stripe is used for payment processing. Other service providers support core platform infrastructure, data storage, and application hosting.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.

If you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal information as described in the "Your Data Choices" section below, except for certain billing records that may be retained as required for financial record-keeping purposes.

10. Your Data Choices

You have control over your information. From within your Her Next Step account, you can:

• View and update your profile information.
• Export your data — download a CSV of your check-ins, workout logs, food logs, symptoms, and journal entries.
• Delete your account — permanently removes your personal data and de-identifies billing records.
• Connect or disconnect wearable services at any time.
• Manage notification preferences.
• Manage marketing and engagement email preferences.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your information.

However, no system or method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

12. Age Eligibility

Her Next Step is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
